Hi there.

I’m Crystal, an Atlanta-based Design and Research Director with over 15 years of experience.

I bring a deep passion for guiding teams in creating impactful experiences that resonate with real users. My commitment extends beyond mere design to delivering meaningful value, consistently evidenced by measurable results.

What I bring to the table:

I can think big picture, but I’m still able to get into the weeds

Leading a design organization, I need to be able to think into the future and help set a vision for how we’ll get there.

I’m a UX designer at heart and still love to get my hands dirty and nerd-out with my team on design rationale. Helping my team think through tactical design decisions while being able to see how that translates to the future, is a key skill for a good design leader.

I take the mystery out of the design process

I’ve had lots of success when I’ve brought my product/development partners and other stakeholders into different design and research activities.

They were able to see and understand that moving pixels around on the screen is one of the last things that we do. It helped us reach a shared level of understanding and reduce rework from a design and development perspective.

I’m passionate about investing in my team

As a leader, I want to make sure my team feels supported, not only in their day-to-day activities, but also in their desired career paths.

I make a point to have quarterly sessions where we focus on growth and development, how I can help invest in them, and their career goals and aspirations.

I’ve done a lot of stuff I’m pretty, freaking proud of.
